Summer 2024
|
The last 2 months have been busy in the lab! We have welcomed summer NURO intern Angelica Cruz Calderon from the University of Puerto Rico and UM undergraduate researchers Geshan "Veronica" Feng and Logan Smallegan. We also welcomed and said good-bye to visiting Northwestern Medical Student, Charlotte Yang. This group of quick learners hit the ground running on the huge backlog of organoid samples generated by our own Dr. Jinghui Luo.

Graduations and Goodbyes
This month we celebrated Joy Huang's graduation after many productive years in the lab as a researcher, honor's thesis student, and coder extraordinaire. Luckily, Joy is working just down the hall in the Parent/Ziobro lab! We also said goodbye to Keithan Lee (undergrad) as he graduates and heads to Baylor Medical School(!) this fall.
